Food Pantry Information

Residents of Story County are welcome to utilize our Food Pantry once every 30 days. We are a client choice pantry which means you are able to pick out your own food, with our monitoring. The amount of food provided varies with family size. During your pantry visit, we will offer meats and eggs, when in stock. In addition, we offer personal care items such as soap, toilet paper, toothpaste, shampoo, etc., and diapers, pull-ups and wipes for infants/toddlers. If you’re in need of formula or food, please ask.

Our Doing The Most Good Market offers you fresh produce, dairy, breads and other meals and side options to help compliment your meals. Things like salads, milk, yogurt and pre-cooked sandwiches are often available.

We are proud of our partnership with The Food Bank of Iowa, Walmart, Fresh Thyme, Kum & Go, Plant A Row, Mustard Seed Community Farm, the United States Postal Service, United Way of Story County and other individuals and clubs in our County who offer continuous support of our food pantry and market.
